Announcement of New JCDA President

The Japan Career Development Association (JCDA) is pleased to announce that, as of June 27, 2025, Ms. Yoshimi Sasaki has assumed the role of President of JCDA, succeeding Mr. Yoshio Ohara.

Ms. Sasaki joined JCDA in December 2012 and has since served in key roles, including in the Education and Training Division, as Director, and as a Board Member. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed to advancing career counseling and fostering a society where individuals can make the most of who they are while building meaningful connections with others and with society.

Mr. Ohara served as President for eight years, providing exceptional leadership and expanding JCDA’s mission nationwide. He will continue to support JCDA as a Director and Special Advisor. We extend our sincere gratitude for his dedication and accomplishments over the years.

Under President Sasaki’s leadership, JCDA will continue to promote inclusive, people-centered career support and expand collaboration with professionals and organizations across Japan and beyond.

We kindly ask for your continued support as we embark on this new chapter.
